Prumas Artiste of the year 2018(Who the cup fits let him/her wear)

“If you are always waiting for the right time to be ready, you may never actually begin your journey,” says Mr .Shabir Tabare Alam, 32, an award-winning music producer and singer-songwriter.

He has set the whole region dancing to his matured lyrics and good music, the whole upper west region can testify about hit tracks like “champion boy” “jah know star” ena la (u be the one) among others in 2017 and previous years and its yet another year to appreciate the good works of the “bambam”,hitmaker Wiz-Maleek, this gentle man deserved it even though he was not acknowledged in previous years. 

This young man has caused a lot of music lovers in upper west region say “You have to dive in and ensure you are constantly hungry to learn, grow and practice we believe you Wiz-Maleek.”

Mahama Malik learnt this hard way even in an environment where he was innocent but engulf with hatred and jealousy, he struggled in a negative environment and yields positive results through the magic of music.Mahama Malik upon all the opposition stood up strongly and used the negatives to build confidence and look at things positively. Over time, he poured his heart and soul into his passion for music, becoming an accomplished artiste, now known everywhere in the region and beyond as Wiz-Maleek.

 dancing to his back to back hit tracks including ‘’boo yang lee”(food is ready) “Bambam” (Hot) and his newly released track titled “center” has gotten nomination on the following categories sanitation song of the year, music video of the year, most popular song of the year including Artiste of the year which is the biggest.

Some of Wiz Maleek notable achievements include his fight for peace and unity in the upper west music which he featured 14 underground artiste on his “Bambam remix video” re-uniting artiste in the region, upon his countless hit singles, he has launch the “Waala Boy”album made up of 13 tracks in January 2018,aside his hit tracks, he has staged two shows in the year 2018 which alone has met the qualifications of the artiste of the year. He has entered into a deal with Royce Energy Drinks as the regional ambassador this to mention but a few.

His personal success also inspired him to set up a mini brand as Dhopest Crew (DC) under the Ta Daa High entertainment label (TDHE) to help aspiring him and other musicians develop their potential and live their dream.

Finding balance in his life used to be a major challenge. He recalls juggling too many things at once — fulfilling his duties as a music artiste, teaching music, composing music for friends, help bringing young and new artiste with collaborations,  performing at various shows both official and un-officials to support colleague artiste and his own region,(Upper West).

Having gone deep into the achievements of Mahama 

Malik known in show biz as wiz Maleek,the region and the music lovers should give the due honour to whom it deserve hence Mahama maleek aka Wiz Maleek is upper west region’s artitse of the year hopefully.

Mahama Malik has worked for it, he deserves it and he must be honored,Progress Upper West Music Awards 2018(PRUMAS 18) Artiste of The Year.
